WELLNESS AND PREVENTATIVE CARE

Wellness and preventative care is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle for your pet. Lakeshore Veterinary Hospital offers the following services:

DENTAL CARE

It is recommended that all dogs and cats receive a yearly dental cleaning and oral examination. Dental cleanings are performed under general anesthesia by our technicians using a safe ultrasonic scaler to remove tartar from the teeth and then polish the teeth thoroughly.  Once your pet’s teeth are clean, we can give you tips and tricks to help you remove food particles and plaque at home between professional pet dental cleanings.

LABORATORY DIAGNOSTICS

Lakeshore Veterinary Hospital offers a wide variety of laboratory diagnostics. Below is a list of diagnostic tools that Lakeshore offers but is not limited to:

Maintaining a healthy weight for your pet is very important. If you would like assistance with how much you should be feeding your pet, please give us a call and we would be happy to help.


We currently offer the Purina line of veterinary diets. If you have any questions about these diets please give us a call. Below is a list of all recommended diets that have been food trial tested.
